Alicia Romano is a specialized clinical dietitian at Tufts Medical Center and a board-certified nutrition support clinician.
Alicia helps manage nutritional needs of patients with irritable bowel syndrome, short bowel syndrome, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, inflammatory bowel disease and food allergies. She provides medical nutrition therapy and nutrition support to high-risk surgery and oncology patients. Alicia serves as the Nutrition Internship Clinical Coordinator at Tufts Medical School and is a National Media Spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She also serves as a lead Nutrition/RD Cookbook Consultant for America’s Test Kitchen and KIND®. Alicia’s work has been published in several cookbooks and medical newsletters. She is a graduate of James Madison University and earned a master’s degree from Tufts University.
