MICRO nutrients, MAJOR consequences

This presentation will review the prevalence and primary causes of micronutrient deficiencies for the enterally fed patient. Take a deeper dive into special considerations for enterally fed patients to assure micronutrient needs are met. Review the most common vitamins/minerals of concern when exclusively tube fed, the symptoms of these deficiencies and how to best treat.
