Intestinal Permeability In Pediatrics

Introductory information for dietitians on intestinal permeability pathology and diagnosis in different types of pediatric patients. Explains the relationship between food allergies, food sensitivities, and intestinal permeability specific to pediatric patients. Pediatric conditions discussed include cow’s milk allergy, IBS, functional abdominal pain, and autism. Nutritional therapy to address increased intestinal permeability is also reviewed.
