This CE will provide information on the history, risk factors and screening/identification of adult and pediatric malnutrition. The use of enteral and parenteral nutrition in the malnourished patient will be reviewed with a focus on addressing malnutrition by evaluating feeding intolerance. Lastly, a comprehensive review of the literature surrounding health-related outcome measures and pediatric/adult malnutrition will be discussed.
